Reunion class gift

At WashU, we believe in the power of tradition, community, and the transformative impact of education. Your reunion year is not only an opportunity to reconnect with old friends but also a chance to make a meaningful contribution to the institution that played a significant role in shaping your journey.

Be a part of the time-honored tradition of giving back through your reunion class gift. Regardless of the size of your contribution, every gift makes an impact on the university, its students, and the larger community.

Looking back at 2006

If the shoe fits …
At first glance, earning an architecture degree might not seem like an obvious path to becoming a shoe designer. But Kristina Grimm, AB ’06, turned the problem-solving skills she learned as an architecture student at Washington University into a long and successful career at Reebok.

John Major to WUSTL Class of 2006: ‘Be ambitious, aim high’
Just because graduates have received their degrees does not mean that the learning process has stopped, The Right Honorable Sir John Major told the graduating class of 2006 during the 145th Commencement at WashU. The former prime minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland spoke to an audience of more than 13,000, including some 2,500 graduates, during the May 19 ceremony held in Brookings Quadrangle.

Collaborative by design
After more than a decade of making furniture together, Stephanie Beamer, AB ’06; Crystal Ellis, AB ’06; and Hillary Petrie, AB ’06, have a knack for translating each other’s sparks of inspiration into designs. Beamer, Ellis and Petrie — all architecture majors — co-founded their contemporary furniture design company, Egg Collective, shortly after graduating from the College of Architecture in the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts.
